Day One: A Romantic Western Wedding at Villa Grabau
The weekend began with a beautiful Western wedding ceremony at the Teatrino di Verzura, a lush green space within the historic Villa Grabau. The setting was elegantly styled in shades of white and green, creating a timeless and sophisticated ambiance. As Erin and Ashwin exchanged vows, surrounded by the stunning Italian elegance, love and emotion filled the air.
Following the ceremony, guests moved to the Giardino dei Limoni for an elegant cocktail hour, sipping on fine Italian wines and craft cocktails while enjoying the beauty of the villa’s gardens. For the wedding dinner, two long, beautifully decorated tables were set up in front of the Limonaia, creating an intimate yet grand setting for a night of exquisite food and heartfelt toasts.
As the evening progressed, the celebration transitioned into a lively party inside the Limonaia, where colorful lights, an open bar, and energetic dancing kept the atmosphere electric until late into the night.

Day Two: Mehndi & Wine Tasting in the Heart of Lucca
The second day brought a perfect fusion of traditions and Tuscan charm. The women gathered in the elegant salons of a historic palazzo in Lucca for a traditional Mehndi ceremony, where intricate henna designs were applied in preparation for the Indian wedding. Laughter, music, and vibrant colors filled the air, creating a beautiful prelude to the following day’s festivities.
Meanwhile, the men enjoyed a relaxed afternoon at a local enoteca, savoring fine Tuscan wines and delicious local delicacies in a cozy and intimate setting. This thoughtful balance of cultural tradition and Italian lifestyle made the day both meaningful and enjoyable for all.

Day Three: A Spectacular Indian Wedding at Villa Grabau
The grand finale of this incredible wedding weekend was a stunning Indian ceremony at Villa Grabau, beginning with the Baraat procession. Ashwin, surrounded by music, dancing, and joyful guests, made his way toward the Mandap, set up in the breathtaking Giardino Inglese.
As anticipation built, Erin made her entrance in a breathtaking hand-embroidered red lehenga, adorned with sparkling traditional jewelry that left everyone in awe. The ceremony, rich in symbolism and tradition, was a beautiful fusion of love, heritage, and Tuscan magic.
Following the ceremony, guests indulged in an authentic Indian buffet, filled with fragrant, flavorful dishes that honored the couple’s cultural roots. The celebration then continued with an energetic Sangeet, where music, dancing, and vibrant colors created an atmosphere of pure joy and festivity.
